Our Mission
Our mission is to instill a love of tennis in each player we coach. We offer programs for all ages and abilities, and can customize our programs to meet your needs. We also offer pickleball lessons and help with organizing pickleball leagues. We love this great game of tennis, which is truly a sport for a lifetime.
The Original RF of Tennis (Just slightly older than Roger Federer)
- Our team is led by Ryan Freeman; A USPTA certified Elite Pro with over 30 years of coaching experience. Ryan has been a mentor for new certified professionals and has also served on the national mentorship committee for the USPTA. He is a native of South Carolina, a former school teacher, and a graduate of Clemson University.
Ryan divides his time coaching tennis, running his non-profit, Zips4kids, and teaching his children's educational program, Ignite Their Spark.

Coach Courtney
- Coach Courtney grew up playing tennis as a young girl. After a short 25 year hiatus from the game, and four children later, she began playing once again. She is a now an active league player, current state champ, certified USTA coach, and our JTT Coordinator. She has never lost a set to Coach Dre, and often reminds him that she plays tennis "Full Western, Full Time" Rumor has it she even brushes her teeth with a full western grip.

Jandre van Wyk
(AKA Coach Dre)
I’m Jandré van Wyk, and my tennis journey began in
Pretoria, South Africa, at the age of 6. The spark to
become a tennis player was kindled as I watched
Roger Federer secure his fourth Wimbledon title in
2007. Starting with competitive tournaments at 9, my
aspirations evolved, leading me on a path towards
college tennis. I graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2023, where I made a mark on the tennis court, predominantly playing 1st string doubles and 5th string singles. A highlight was breaking CMU’s single-season winning record with my doubles partner, securing a 15-4 record in the 2020-21 season.
As a coach my mission is to not only enhance the skills of players at all levels but also to ensure that each session is a journey of improvement and enjoyment. I aim to provide players with the tools necessary for reaching their goals or advancing to the next level while fostering a spirit of fun and enthusiasm throughout the learning process.
